The Tolmin Union of Youth Associations is an umbrella organisation of 7 associations that are active in Tolmin in the western region of Slovenia known as Goriška. It was established in 2000 after a 7-year fight with the municipality to obtain premises for a youth cultural centre. In 2004 the union succeeded in opening the MINK Youth Centre Tolmin, a new venue for cultural events in the former shelter in the town's centre.

Activities

Since 2005 the union has also run the MMC Mink Multimedia Centre, which is a member of the M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia. The union organises the interdisciplinary Sajeta Creative Camp (in August), smaller festivals such as Kantout Fest (February), and a regular concert programme in the MINK Centre.
